Diversity, tranquility and an abundance of fish sums up the fishing experience at either of our Quebec fishing destinations.
At Lac Mer Bleue, measuring 5 km’s by 2 km’s, you will regularly find yourself being the only boat on the lake. Thanks to our Exclusive Rights Outfitting lease with the Quebec government, we control the access to our territory allowing us to have our own fishery management plan. Most renowned for our trophy large and smallmouth bass, we also have very healthy populations of northern pike, walleye, lake trout and whitefish.
Families with children will enjoy the numerous panfish and bass that can be caught by simply casting a worm on a hook and bobber from either the main dock or shoreline in front of the cottage. Kids will definitely catch fish on lacs Mer Bleue and Lacroix!
After 7 years of spawning bed rehabilitations and stocking efforts, ECO Mer Bleue will finally be re-opening walleye fishing on a limited basis. Clients will now be able to catch and keep ONE (1) walleye per trip per person within the slot size of 14″ to 21″. This limited harvest will give guests the opportunity to have the famous shore lunch or snack of walleye while allowing the fishery to continue to grow.
At a short 1.5 hour drive from Ottawa or 3 hrs from the US border with 4 star waterfront accommodaions, fishing trips at ECO Mer Bleue are a favourite for both adult groups and families!
Lac Mer Bleue is almost 300 feet deep with several islands, rock shoals, sandy back bays and submerged weedbeds. There is habitat and structure galore to keep any angler busy!

“The Garage” a newly constructed 5 star, 2 bedroom unit located on a second floor above our main garage and outdoor education centre. This unit has all the modern amenities including a huge deck and two bedrooms sleeping up to 8 guests.

“Paradise Point” seasonal outpost cabin
- $6000 plus licenses and taxes (up to 4 people) for 4 weeks of access between June 17th and Sept. 18th.
- Bring your own generator and motorboat to come and go as you please.

- A 50% non refundable deposit is required to book all trips and must be paid by cash, e-transfer or cheque with the remainder due in cash, certified cheque or e-transfer upon arrival.
- Kids 16 and under are free.
- 1 motorboat and gas is included for every 2 paying customers.
